I told you not to go under there

As the company bus was leaving Jimei, we ended up temporarily stuck behind this truck whose driver had clearly not thought about height restrictions when it came to bridges.

  1. Hmm, this happens a lot near where I live. There is an old rail-road trestle arch under the Reading Railroad that captures an oblivious truck-driver once a month. Usually, with catastropic results for the trailer.

  2. what you mean those height guidelines actually MEAN something? even in china? you can't just BRIBE your way under the bridge if you're a bit too big?!

  4. His truck will fit, he knows that. It's the load that's the problem and that isn't his, so why should he care?

  5. There should be a license exam for bridge operators. This happens too often. Bridge operators care not a thing for the small trucks and cars that are travelling in the opposite direction.
