Saw a clip of Gary Barlow and Robbie Williams’ video Shame this morning. I am presuming the homoeroticism is completely intended as a bit of a joke:
‘Tis rather cheesy, isn’t it? They both look good, though. And I’m loving Robbie’s swallow tatts.
Update: an interview on Radio 1.
Soundgarden has released a ‘new’ (i.e. previously unreleased) single Black Rain, recorded way back in the day. Chris Cornell sounds positively adolescent. I think I prefer the darker, less screechy stuff, although this is still pretty good.
ZOMG. Soundgarden (WTF?) at Lollapalooza 2010.
(Chris Cornell sounded better at his solo concert, but who’s complaining.)
There’s going to be a ‘new’ retrospective (*raises eyebrow*) album released at the end of September and I’d be all over it if it wasn’t priced at over £20. Seriously? Neil and I pretty much own all the Soundgarden / Audioslave / Chris Cornell albums anyway.
Thanks to @DigitalDanCanon.
I really, really need Classic Fantastic and Livin’ in the City. Neil can’t stand them but I’ve loved their contemporary sleaze-tastic lounge lizard sound since Come Find Yourself.
They’re playing in Edinburgh in September. Bring it ON!!!
I’m no Metallica fan, but this is fucking brilliant.
That Lady Gaga sure knows how to do pop music. If only everyone made such an effort.
Everyone’s talking about this one. There’s a good reason — the video is brilliant. What a great effort.
