This weekend I…

• moved a lot of clothing over to the other house (wow, we’ve got a lot of clothes)
• moved our mattress over to the other house, meaning we have, well, moved (’about fucking time’ doesn’t adequately express the relief)
• did some unpacking
• bought a real wok (i.e. with a round bottom) from Chung Ying (as well as bee hoon and tang hoon!)
• invited Brian, Carene, and Brian’s sister Kirstie over a for a few drinks
• did the weekly shop (and not-so-weekly one-off buys for the house)
• had an over-salted Chinese takeaway for dinner
• suffered the boiler turning itself off while I was trying to shower (Singaporean + winter + freezing cold water = extreme shivers)
