Some people criticised the Jaws scene! Sci-fi adventure-y stuff? Try The End of Mr. Y, another mind-bender. Can't say it's 100% my style, but it got me thinking.

Finished Raw Shark Texts last night. Interesting, but odd ending! Did enjoy the final chapter as "Jaws" was one of my favorite films and those scenes written in such a different context were good fun...

Always looking for good fiction like RST or Sci-Fi to read.

I might take a look at Life of Pi... Your other recommendation "Raw Shark Texts" is being a quite enjoyable read (about 75% through it, Sanderson 2 has just discovered the objectives of Sanderson 1 from Fidorous)...

I have a few books in line now, you are doing a great service in keeping me sane in a turbulent period of work in China... thanks!
