Tangent on the election
Has anyone noticed the flyers we’re getting promoting the parties in the Scottish elections are all* printed on glossy paper, which is notoriously difficult to recycle? What about their ‘green credentials’?
* The Green Party’s flyer is printed on recycled paper that’s slightly glossy (I’m guessing they don’t want us to recycle their flyer, either).

One person is having trouble deciding so they put the vote up for auction.
I would would estimate my price somewhere around a six pints of Watney’s Cream Stout unless an economist can convince me it should be more.
Oh well, ebay deleted the auction.
I’m reasonably sure that anything glossy/coated is cheaper to produce these days. The cheapest business cards you can get are matte cellosheen, rather than the ruff untreated card that used to be cheap.
Grenn parties are not really much known for their environmental policies any more, sigh. But do keep us updated!
Terry — haha. That’s the way politicians work!
Bec/Boo, you’re probably right. It doesn’t excuse them from screaming We’re GREEEEEEN, though.
