I guess that is okay. I would like one even though I do not own a cell phone or an iPod (and I think the battery life will suck even worse than my mom's cellphone).

And I agree with you on iTunes. I would rather buy a CD and rip it myself and be able to play the MP3's anywhere than be locked into some DRM scheme. I think Apple really needs a low cost computer to leverage the iPod. The Mac mini is an overpriced boutique computer with limited storage options and a crappy graphics chip and the iMac locks users into an overpriced LCD. Except for the iPod, it is like they are avoiding success on purpose.

But Terry, I don't need a UMPC of any description. I only want a phone. My sister wants one, though. She likes Apple.

I think you to see it in operation. It is going to pop your paradigm, and not just because it has double the resolution of the ROKR. Its a cross between a Star Trek communicator and a Tablet PC (assuming they can actually ship it before July).

It won't work, Terry, because I have that irrational dislike for iPods, and I have played with them. I don't get it. I don't need a super-pretty music player, I'm a klutz and I'm not interested in paying for that (or brand premiums). If I was to get an MP3 player, I would go for a small unit with flash memory and a reasonable price.

I still think the MOTOROKR E6 looks better.

I am not too surprised since I think you said something about the iPod being overpriced. :D I will wait until you play with one for you to take it back.
