Theming and design
Some great tips for designing your on WordPress theme. I’d like to add that The GIMP is a great image manipulator, and the price is right.
However, if you’re stuck for inspiration, or only want to tweak an existing pretty template, head on over to OpenDesigns.org. The majority of templates seem geared toward weblogs, and I’m not surprised.

hi andrea - for some reason, the new design always takes me to this entry - http://www.serialdeviant.org/weblog/?p=1555 - when i fire up serialdeviant.org/weblog in firefox. i’ve tried refreshing and clearing my cache, but it makes no difference. if i *shudder* use ie it does the same thing - very strange! i can see that there are new entries from looking on the right sidebar, and i can get specifically to those entries if i click on them, but can’t seem to see them from the main weblog page.

That’s the idea of this theme, to have only posts from one category on the main page, and the other posts in the sidebar, so it’s displaying the right way. Hehe.
