Met a bloke (a journalist) last night who knows Adnan, the photographer in the centre of the altered Lebanon photos kerfuffle. He said Adnan was a bit of an arrogant fellow, but a great photographer who now has no chance of ever doing war photography again.
Mmm. Maybe he wanted to stop doing war photography but no one would listen, so he did this on purpose?
Or maybe he’s been getting away with subtler manipulations for some time, and just got over-confident?
