… my digital camera is dead. Because the battery charger is dead. I can’t even download the photos that are on it, because there is no juice, no juice to power the little Sony Cybershot baby.
Goddammit.
How am I going to survive before our vacation in Singapore where I will get everything — including that pesky problem of the camera turning itself on and off — fixed and happy so my life is once again complete?

That is what you get for making the mistake of buying a camera that takes nonstandard batteries. :\
Does the camera have a memory stick that you could buy a reader for? I just saw a 25-in-1 USB reader on sale for $5 US.
A new charger costs S$107, not including GST!!
I’m going to try to borrow a charger from a friend who has the same model camera over the next few days.
The camera also needs a service. That’s more money spent…
