This weekend I…
19 December 2005
- had dinner at City Mark (we have vouchers, loads of vouchers)
- went to The House for a mint tea (and watched Seabiscuit, part of The Whole Ten Yards because it was shite, and the last half of Van Helsing, which was also shite)
- slept in (I’m beginning to wonder why I note this since I sleep in almost every day)
- went out to buy pastries for a Christmas party / gift exchange
- watched a couple of episodes of Monk
- went to said party and exchanged gifts (note to self: never, ever hand sew a sock doll as a gift for someone who doesn’t know about hand sewn sock dolls or my sense of humour — I predict it’s already in the trash)
- finished watching Monk season three (this season wasn’t as good, far too predictable)
- had an early dinner at Le Mezina
- chatted to a bunch of young punks (literally) for a couple of hours
- ate a barbecue supper

Your weblog keeps me on my toes. The layout keeps changing and thus keeps me alert. And I thought those terrycloth bunnies were dumplings. At first, of course.

RE: Chinese Restaurant Calculation Made Easy
Whew, I am glad you have vouchers. I was considering telling my nephews to finish their dinners because Andrea was starving in China.

Maria, if we ever meet, we'll go to a Chinese restaurant and I'll make you bunnies.
Terry, I'm not starving yet. Hopefully I won't have to, as we have turned a small profit (not a living wage, but it's something) and hopefully it's a growing trend.

andrea – my layout for your site is stuck on the blue and white layout with the flower-ish circle back ground. how can i get it to change to other options?!
of course, my layout for my site is also stuck…but for a different reason. :(

I had the same problem when I first loaded the new design. Drove me nuts, as I could see the design in Mozilla and Opera but not Firefox nor IE. I had to completely clear all history, cache, everything in Firefox (while not browsing the page) before it changed.
