Thanks to Terry, I now know that there is a porn DVD for sale that stars probing Daleks and women who have really, really bad fake boobs.
(Confession: I’ve never seen Dr Who, well, maybe part of an episode once, many years ago.)

Never …seen …any …Dr. Who? (picks up jaw off floor) You really need to rent some DVDs then. I would suggest starting with some of the Tom Baker episodes (some edited by Douglas Adams). Do not go overboard though, you could start watching them continuously now and maybe not finish until Xmas. There are almost 700 episodes.
Have you at least seen any Red Dwarf or HHGTTG?

She’s a Trekkie… Dr Who might be a bit intellectual for her!
I just finished watching the latest incarnation of the Dr. Not too bad…

Terry, I just stunned Neil last night by saying I’d never seen Red Dwarf. As for HHGTTG, I may have seen an episode on reruns once.
All these series were run when I was, how shall I say it, too YOUNG to appreciate them.

I can RENT you the DVD’s of HHGTTG (TV version) and the first six series of Red Dwarf.
(in my old age I need the cash to support my pension).

Andrea, you will never look at chicken vindaloo the same way again (assuming you have ever had it) after you watch RD.
Have you ever heard of Monty Python’s Flying Circus? ;) The Grail is one of my favorite movies of all time.

I’ve never looked at chicken vindaloo in any particular way… I don’t like spicy food much! And I have the entire series of Monty Python’s Flying Circus, but I preferred the films. Neil’s reading one of your Red Dwarf books right now, TuTu. At least I think it’s yours.

Finished it! Reminded me a lot of Thursday nights when I was a lad.
Terry, as a yank I’m surprised you get any of the humour(correct spelling). That’s not meant personally, just an observation that humour is very different in the US and UK.

Neil, I do not know when I first developed a taste for British comedy, but it was even before I started watching MPFS. I would rather watch The Young Ones or My Hero, than have to suffer through Friends. Too often the shows here appeal to the lowest common denominator.
