Huari mummy found in Lima
Headless mummy excavated in Peru; his head was most likely removed after death, when the conquering Ichmas overran Lima. Not that I know a lot (or anything) about ancient Peruvian history, I just love to read about mummies and excavations and amazing archaeological discoveries.
