Quitting smoking for publicity
It won’t work in the long term, I reckon. If you’re ready, you’re ready. If they took on a challenge to stay smoke-free for 365 days, but to start the challenge on their own terms, that would be worth watching. Right now it’s a publicity stunt that’s more than likely to fail.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m sure they are sincere about trying to stop smoking, but doing it based on someone else’s timetable just seems doomed to me.
