This weekend I…

  • had dinner at a new Mexican joint (average — I wouldn’t recommend it unless you really hate the cilantro at Havana)
  • watched The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen (not too bad, probably because I had low expectations)
  • watched Suspect Zero (Neil’s choice, because “… if Ben Kingsley’s in it, it must be good,” and there’s no doubt remote viewing is still being extensively used)
  • went to Ben’s to watch the Lions – All Blacks game
  • stayed at Ben’s to watch Wimbledon and bits of Riding Giants (until quite late)
  • had a chef’s salad at Javaromas while Neil and Neil talked shop (Neil 2 is a Scot as well)
  • went to the beach and watched the boys kitesurf (I think there were more kites than surfers)
  • had a quick meal at Georgie and Gary’s
  • watched some of the Wimbledon men’s singles final
  • watched The Bourne Identity

Discipline Energy Beauty Strength

Picked up a copy of D.E.B.S. last night. Neil didn’t mind, since there were pictures of girls in short skirts on the cover. I thought it’d be good for a brainless movie evening.

I so did not know it was a gay film. A comment on IMDB said the lesbian lead characters should appeal more to female viewers. Bullshit. What porn film doesn’t include at least one scene with two (or three, or ten, I suppose) girls getting it on with each other?
