Ah, I get it now. The casinos Integrated Resorts were not approved to rejuvenate the tourism industry, no no no, it was to create jobs for the MRT! These dastardly public transportation conspiracies…
(I think the MRT is very handy. I am so out of touch, though, I’ve not even been on that line that takes one through Clarke Quay and Little India — well, I may have, once, but I forget.)

In any case, I’m more than happy than they’re making the MRT go more places…so that people don’t feel they need to buy cars. I think we can with fewer cars.

Jean, yeah, the better the public transport is, the more likely fewer people will want or need to buy cars (except maybe at CHinese New Year!).
Kristen, I knew it, I knew there was one occasion with you guys, but I haven’t been on it since!
Vague recollection… but I’m sure the French stall would have been as good as ever.
