I laughed and laughed when I saw Grover’s ‘Near and Far’ when I was a kid and stifled major giggles when I imagined it five minutes ago. It’s amazing how the memories come back, isn’t it? There’s one I remember but isn’t on the list, Kermit the Frog as a roving investigative reporter.

Yesterday, Neil was doing something silly, and he reminded me of the construction crew, the Doozers, on Fraggle Rock (but his true alter ego is Beaker — meep!). Which got us talking about good and bad guys in cartoons and kid’s television shows — did you know the Smurfs never really got too big in the UK back in the day? Neil did not know that Azrael was Gargamel’s cat! Travesty!
