He’s gotta eat

After reading something that clearly indicates many are making a mountain out of a molehill, my take is that people make mistakes, they learn from them (hopefully), and move on to better things. People like me who happily use WordPress free of charge can tell the developer that they are not happy with his method of earning some much-needed dollars, but there is no need for name-calling. Civility, please. Anyone game to create something better than WordPress and give it away?
