This weekend I…
29 November 2004
- had Thanksgiving dinner (was sorely disappointed at the relative lack of turkey)
- went to Trance
- slept all day (Neil was jetlagged, I was keeping him company)
- had dinner at Shakira
- watched AI (a bit twisted, don’t you think?)
- listened to How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb (twice) and Songs About Jane
- read Deception Point (like Ian Rankin, I enjoy Dan Brown’s style, but it’s getting a bit repetitive and predictable)
- watched Jackass (perfect candidates for the Darwin Awards, should never have children, etc. etc.)
- had an early dinner at Little Chilli
- had mint tea and pumpkin pie at The House

Songs About Jane, I think, tops my Christmas wish list. And what are your thoughts about How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb? Especially compared to All That You Can’t Leave Behind?

"How to…" is actually a bit too similar to "All that…" for my liking, but it's still a pretty decent album. I bought it on the back of hearing vertigo in the iPod advert!

I think Neil won't admit that Songs About Jane is pretty good, since they're a commercial success in, shock horror, Singapore. Heehee!
How to Dismantle was okay. Perhaps a bit forgettable as I've already completely forgotten all the songs on it.
